How to overclock the processor of HP laptop?

There is a process called Overclocking which helps in enhancing the load and run many larger programs swiftly. In short, Overclocking is a process of increasing the speed to the higher speeds of the clock of the processor.
For example: the processor would run at the higher speeds such as 2.0 GHz if you overclock a 1.8 GHz processor.

How to overclock the processor of HP laptop?
Below is the process with the help of which you can overclock the HP laptop:
1. Turn On the system. Click Delete for accessing the motherboard BIOS when the white and black screen displays a list of all components of your device.
2. Click on Advanced Tools after seeing the main menu of the BIOS. And then select CPU Multiplier Tool.
3. From here increase the CPU multiplier one step above, like for say if the multiplier is at 4x, raise the level to 5x. Press F10 for applying the changes and then restart your HP laptop.
4. Now install Prime 95 on your device and run it. Run Prime 95 on your laptop for 12 minutes at least. Afterwards, run the Torture Test feature after 12 minutes in Prime 95.
5. Your device's CPU is not fit for overclocking if it crashes during any of the previous tests. Click F10 and restart the laptop to set the CPU Multiplier back to previous values.
6. Go to CPU Multiplier tool if your laptop did not crash and increase the values one step above. Restart the device after clicking F10. Now, run Prime 95. Until the device shuts down repeat this process. Now set the speed back of the CPU Multiplier and then click F10. And then restart the laptop.
